Since coffee can be such a hot topic (see what I did there), let's talk about how you can keep it in your routine without the negative affects it can sometimes come with.
COFFEE! You either love it or hate it. So assuming I’m talking to the “love it” crowd, I want to discuss
all of the ways you can keep your coffee and benefit from it too.
I’ll start by sharing the main “con” of coffee that I see play out with so many of my clients. It raises cortisol levels. Coffee contains caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant. Stimulants will increase both your blood sugar and your cortisol levels. And when either or both of your blood sugar and cortisol levels are high, this 100% impacts your health. Especially if this is a consistent trend, day after day. Why is that?
